My name is Sam Dahr, M.D. I practice diseases and surgery of the retina and vitreous, uveitis, and ocular oncology. As an ophthalmologist, I am fellowship trained in those areas and limit my practice to those sub-specialties. In general, all those diseases affect the back portion of the eye, so I can be considered a "back of the eye" specialist. Cornea, glaucoma, and cataract surgeons generally deal with the "front of the eye."
